A payroll giving scheme, also known as 'Give as you Earn', is an easy, tax-efficient way of donating through your salary. It enables you to give to Healthy Valleys straight from your gross salary (before tax is deducted), giving immediate tax relief on your donations.

For example, if you agree to give £10 each month from your gross salary, the pledge will only cost you £8 (at the 20% basic rate of tax), or £6 (at the 40% rate of tax).

Healthy Valleys will still get the £10 because the Income Tax applicable to the donation is paid to Healthy Valleys instead of HMRC.

Anyone whose pay is taxed through PAYE can donate through Give as you Earn.
